FULL CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

Chakra Balancing Flow
Yoga Nidra (“Yogic Sleep” Deep Relaxation)

20 and 30 minute sessions

This restorative deep relaxation session is, hands down, the most popular aspect of Emerald Mind & Body Wellness classes. Students bring their own favorite blanket and settle into corpse pose (lying on back on mat) covered in their blanket as they are led through a deeply relaxing and restorative guided meditation, progressively relaxing each part of their body.

Visualization techniques are used to deepen the relaxation while seeing, sensing and feeling oneself in a place of spectacular beauty and serenity.

Chakras 101 Workshop

1 hour 30 minutes

What is a Chakra?  Why would I want to learn about the chakras?  Chakra is a Sanskrit word that means "wheel."

Chakras are energy centers in the body that play an important role in our physical, mental, and spiritual well-being.

Each chakra influences the physical, emotional, psychological and hormonal aspects of our being. The chakras can receive and send energy, become blocked or over-stimulated; like water, the energy of our mind-body system needs to keep flowing.

Mastering the art of balancing one's own chakras has untold health benefits for body, mind and spirit.

Come to the Chakra 101 workshop and learn more about the chakras and learn and experience techniques for balancing your chakras. Wear loose fitting and

comfortable clothes and bring a notebook, pen and a yoga mat or towel.
